Ascension Springs Wellness morphed into being after Ilana left the City in 2021 in pursuit of a more natural, grounded way of life. In the midst of completing her Herbology Diploma from Wild Rose College, Ilana found a small Micro Farm in Clearwater County and has not looked back.
At first, the intention was to build several greenhouses and grow and sell fresh organic produce and herbs. However, the Land had other ideas. Not a single visitor to the property would not express words of encouragement to build something magical to share with the world. After a visit to Circle Wellness in Vancouver’s East End, Ilana had an epiphany that she needed to do a ‘Rocky Mountain’ version on her property. As luck would have it, her Son Josh was having his own love affair with Hot and Cold Therapy on the West Coast and their business started to take shape. Josh packed up his life ( including two dogs) and left the West Coast to collaborate with his mother and turn their Dream into reality.
Situated amongst a Pine Forest and nestled next to a Trout filled Creek, sits a quaint and architecturally designed Sauna House, Tipi and Farm Shop, where you will find homemade Jellies, Honey from the Farm, Herbal Remedies, and local Artisan’s wears.
Indigenously owned and operated, this little piece of Heaven is open year round to accommodate guests as they Relax, Rest, and Rejuvenate. Bringing people back to Nature and their roots is the impetus of this Wellness Spa.
Sharing customs and stories from our Ancestors is an integral part of the experience.
